I brushed it off all as bullshit.Īfter this, I decided to not rely on that person anymore and went to Reddit for the first time. And showered me some comments about "squeakers" and some people having an intolerance and being ragey about it. Something something about soft voices not being heard or higher pitch voices will aggravate the mentality of teammates which in turn will ignore you. My armchair coach then provided "proofs" of some scientific paper found on Reddit, yadayada.
My wannabe "coach" friend told me that was not because of the quality of my callouts but more due to my voice quality. It really frustrates me because I always thought that my callouts were my strongest skillset compared to aim/positioning. However in my ranked matches, only about half of the time my callouts are heard. I have a voice that is younger than my age. The intricaties of team play, comms, cooldown tracking, all of it. It is free but has a paid version which offers more options.
I wrote it off as some bullshit theory but after dozens of games of testing it out it turns out true for me. Better knowing the truth sooner than later. Yes, it really sucks to finding out discriminated for your voice is an actual thing.
Lost morphvox pro key install#
I very much recommend players with a similar voice quality (timbre, and tone) or the same issue as mine to install one. Tl dr: I have seen a significant improvement of game quality and fellow teammates reacting to my callouts since installing a voice changer.
